Agent9 (“Agent9,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software development, automation, and related services through agent9.dev. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through our website or made available to an Agent9 tool after a user authorizes a LinkedIn connection.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, project details, and message when you contact us.
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information, including IP address, browser or device information, request time, and pages requested, to operate and protect the site.
If you authorize an Agent9 tool to connect with LinkedIn, we may receive only the LinkedIn information and permissions that you authorize and that LinkedIn makes available to the tool. Depending on the permissions granted, this can include your basic profile information, email address, member identifier, authorization token, and content or publishing information needed to prepare or publish a post. We do not receive your LinkedIn password.
Analytics and website usage
We use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics tool, to understand how visitors use this site through heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity masks the content of every input field by default, so anything you type into a form is never captured. This data helps us improve the site and is not sold or used for advertising. Microsoft’s handling of this data is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, provide and improve our services, secure our systems, comply with legal obligations, and communicate with you about a requested service.
LinkedIn-connected information is used only to provide the functionality you requested, such as authenticating your account, preparing content for review, or publishing content you have authorized. Agent9’s LinkedIn workflow is approval-gated by default: drafts are reviewed before publication unless you explicitly authorize a different workflow.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide the service: with infrastructure, hosting, email, and security providers acting on our behalf; with LinkedIn when you direct us to publish or otherwise interact with LinkedIn; or when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use LinkedIn data for advertising, data brokering, or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
We retain contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain our business records, or meet legal obligations. LinkedIn access tokens and data are retained only for as long as needed to provide the authorized functionality, unless a longer period is required by law. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
Your choices and data deletion
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing terry@agent9.dev with the subject line “Privacy Request.” To request deletion of LinkedIn-connected data, email the same address with the subject line “LinkedIn Data Deletion Request” and identify the LinkedIn account or email used to authorize the connection. We will verify the request and delete applicable information, subject to legal and security exceptions.
You can also revoke an Agent9 tool’s LinkedIn access at any time through your LinkedIn account settings. Revoking access stops future collection through that connection; it does not automatically delete data already held by Agent9, so please send a deletion request if you want that data removed.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Agent9’s services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date when changes are made.
